End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling industry for their great flexibility. These machines have great performance characteristics which are somewhat comparable to sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation settings which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an excellent choice for applications which require regular off and on access, because their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by a variety of businesses which maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in an efficient and safe way.
The standard reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks which move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks additionally include a hydraulic setup that enables the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just offers a lot more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without difficulty, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
