Narrow aisle lift trucks work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale spotlights the double reach NDR and the single reach NR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various control handle and stance configurations and utilize best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations that meet a variety of operations and a choice of fore and aft stance or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides powerful acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo transported during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly comprise trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings. This increases the mast rigidity and durability; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To greatly improve the overall throughput and production, Yale provides industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: Although regenerative lowering can lessen battery changes per shift it also functions to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence greatly reduces energy. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician can adjust the steer effort in order to lessen operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These equipment are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the operator and the load to its required height. This height could be in excess of 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are normally guided by wire or rail when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
