Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could often find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also known as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are utilized to transport materials and things around on wooden pallets using metal forks which are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight includes a pump which can lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by a single individual.
To be able to avoid loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks must always be operated carefully. Machine must be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Make certain that the handle turns smoothly. The pallet should be stacked carefully to be able to ensure that nothing will fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level found on the inside of the metal loop in order to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks could then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks should be centered in order to ensure equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift could unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is really dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you as the thrust could cause it to lose control. Slowly take turns and don't try to stop abruptly. Gradually stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
