The compact size of the Genie AWP Super Series gives the operator the ability to work with the equipment as close as 8 centimetres from a wall. The ability to work this closely makes jobs easier without having to utilize more than one equipment to carry out one job. Being the smallest in the industry, the efficiently designed X-pattern outrigger footprint is a common feature which enables the user to operate close to the job. These lightweight, small machinery could fit through regular-sized doorways. Equipment models up to 9.1 meters, that are the AWP-36S and AWP-40S units, do not need to be tilted back when going through standard-sized doorways due to the design of the tilt-back frame. The six-point wheel and caster rocker base system could be maneuvered easily over debris, around corners, and over bumpy thresholds. Models are easily loaded onto trucks, even pickup trucks, because of the lightweight design of the machines and the exclusive rear mast pivot bar. For added versatility and ease of transport, there is an overhead crane attachment point, tie-down attachment points, outrigger storage and lift truck pockets included.
Operator controls are easily accessed and user-friendly. Controls on the machinery include a dual-activated up/down switch, a locking key switch, a low battery indicator and outrigger setup confirmation lights. In the event of a power failure there is an auxiliary platform-lowering feature which allows for descent. This specific feature is standard on all DC and AC units.
The mast system on the Genie is the most durable system around. This patented system is made from aircraft-quality aluminum giving the user comfort and peace of mind through all working heights. Some models have ground fault interrupter receptacle platforms for portable use of power tools.
The many basic features available on each and every model are designed to fit the user's requirements and provide the ability to increase safety and efficiency for all of your application needs.
