Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts provide height and versatility. These models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the person using it to raise the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular lift trucks could not move the cargo towards and away from the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It comes with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specifically to raise employees. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
