The S-boom telescopic booms by Genie have been equipped with an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally as opposed to other types of aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined areas during construction and industrial jobs. They are also recognized for their ability to maneuver through a job site quickly and with great drive speed and traction. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools and are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters. 360° continuous rotating turntables provide quick, easy positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 model comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This specific model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks that were inaccessible by standard jibs before. The Z-80/60 unit's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This particular feature allows over and up reaching jobs to be done with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System built by Genie allows for time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms platform needs to either be lifted or lowered without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system allows both booms to be fully raised at the same time. Both of these features of the Genie Fast Mast system lessens the time needed for users to ascend and descend, increasing productivity and efficiency.
